Thanks, I've played a few games and found it very intense. Naval and quick tech is very important but with the small distance and hanging derricks, early defence is necessary. Allied seem favored here as they can comfortably sit in their base and build up, taking advantage of islands however, having a good late game economy requires controlling part of the middle. I might look into minimizing ore/derricks that influence too slow games.

I def. got the complex feeling of it right away. High level play should be interesting to watch. I've always loved maps that have a lot of split possibilities. I do see how allied will have the advantage though. I guess i'll have to try it to give in my serious input.

Another minor update! Hopefully that's all of the kinks ironed out. Please give it a go, it can be confusing but I believe the map pool needs more maps like this - obscure, asymmetrical and brain-boggling! Give it a go!
