Hi people,

After many years of not playing, I recently got a new PC and got the Origin collection.

I've got the game running well(ish) on windows 8.1 but was wondering how to play online. I understand a few people are still playing it.

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks.

EDIT: I should have stated, i'm trying to play Red Alert 2 and/or Yuri's Revenge.

Also, i'm not being lazy, I've spent a lot of time researching trying to find out how it all works but just don't understand where to even begin. I was told to come to these forums.

Disregard the first step above ^. You don't need to download anything.

Doesn't seem to be related to my issue. I think it's more network related.

When i hit Custom Match, it says, "Connecting to Westwood online" with the two options, Disconnect & Network Status.

It freezes on this screen.
