Do you get the disconnection screen eventually or is it just a constant black screen?

When you alt tab and return can you play?

Constant black screen from start. Then after 30 seconds I can see a cursor and move it but the rest of the whole screen is still being black as  :locked:

It collapses soon after. So in normal words it just freezes or something like that. Then it went into a dc but my screen stays black so i do ctrl alt delete.

I'll try out the alt tab now.

---------------

Ok,

I had 4 Qm games just yet after doing Neo's advice about black screens.

First one went ok, second one went black, third one went strange, fouth one went black aswell.

So I could play a game. 1 game out of four. I'm gonna continue now to host games and look what will happen then.

Friggin Ra2   :lollol:

-----------

2 games no connection (= no start)

1. Click start menu.

2. Click Run.

3. Type "cmd" and hit enter.

4. Type "ipconfig /all" into the cmd window.

5.  Your IPv4 address is what you should use for DMZ.

You will also need to set your pc to use a static IP address (only the one you set for DMZ).

Refer to the guides here to set one up.

Do you have the network patch - wolsock32.dll in your game directory? This usually messes up online hosting / qm play.
