Due to a recent cheat report the November rank 1 will be decided in a Best of 5 tournament between players Marsh and Mikoz.

As both players play different factions, in the interest of making it as fair as possible a pre-determined list of map's has been provided for the game's to take place on.

The map's in order of use appear below.

Divide and Conquer
Jungle of Vietnam
Pirate Bay
Poltergeist
Snow Valley

It would be nice if the game's could be recorded and used for advertising on the Facebook page, so hopefully you guys can organise someone to record.

All XWIS rules apply and game settings must be the same as those in QM. Superweapons can be used if both players agree to it.

Please also post all game stats within this topic.

I can stream it. If you want to announce it on the facebook page, just add the link to my stream and give me the date and time.

Imo he's decent, but his recordings are very high quality and his commentary is very enjoyable

Those maps are to allied favoured. 

 

Divide = slightly sov

Jungle = allied

Pirate Bay = Equil/allied

Poltergeist = Equil/allied

Snow Valley = allied

 

I suggest to replace one of the following : Snow Valley/Polter/Jungle for a map like Egypt or Morning Tide to make it a more fair series.

I did enjoy some of your friends commentary, he's good! 

If you guys can't get him, i'm still available. Maybe I can practice some more commentary. I was also thinking about a LIVE stream (no 30 sec delay) and skype with your friend to do a duo commentary. 

either way, Frank is right. This should be like a monthly or weekly thing.

you just mean "those maps are too hard to rush on"

 

the maps were picked by Jason and josh, they seem to think they are balanced well, and I find polt jungle and sv to be extremely equal, divide is a sov based map and pirate bay is an allied based map

 

in no way are the 2 maps you named even remotely balanced, toe and morning, might as well ask for urban and bottom of lbl

Nah i just dont agree with that.

SV is a hardcore allied map so there should be also atleast 1 hardcore sov map.

( Also Jungle, Polter are the ones allied players always pick for there 1v1s but im cool with the idea that sov is equil ) 

 

My second suggestion would be ; replace SV for ... Landmarks ?

 

 

( The rush comment is useless, you know im capable of any gameplay and win you with diff styles )

there is no point in arguing with me, it will get you no where, everyone knows i'm not one to sway from my mindset and opinion, i'm not the one to talk to about the maps also, I didn't select them, Jason and josh did, I find the maps fine, on the other note, are we doing this tmrw or tonight, only time I have to dedicate a day to this is tmrw, and hof will be published for nov and dec once we finish, so the sooner the better

Im not arguing with you, i gave my opinion to the one organizing this.. And in all fairness those maps are slighty picked for the allied player simple as that.

So a minor change should be legit.

For the games: 50% chance ill be there this weekend, else it will be monday. ( 10pm-2am european time ? )

nope. work 8-7 EST and sometimes later, 6 days a week, I can only do it on a sunday if we cant meet on a sunday you can have rank 1, im not chasing the game for weeks.
