screen 31January last day for the rank, its amazing ,there is a problem with the server?it's been like this for 3 days...

Unfortunately it is hard to find a decent game in the lobby. A lot of players (from what I've heard) have gone over to GameRanger or CNCNet. (I think it's CNCNet)

Mainly the cheaters / ppl who got banned did.
Dont pay attention to them the true ones are still here or simply stopped playing.

Yeah, that is 4-7 am Eastern time in the USA. Just wait 5-6 hours and there will be 70-90 players online

That's not true, GR is way faster than xwis,, perhaps you just played with a players who had a horrible internet connections .

 

Xwis is better because of the Auto-ss for sure.

Tim, tej, sepp aka - sturm1337-, frank, Joni, wayne aka littlDot all these players i've seen them playing @ GR recently only tim didn't play for a while but i've seen him online there many times

One last thing : Yuri is still active and alive @ GR, you can easily get a decent 3v3 / 4v4 games

i just found out they have yuris revenge online, no red alert 2 yet i think, they do have anti cheat, maphack doesnt works on their game client.

Strategst, Me, Grant we all play on CnCNet now, because already YR is more active than RA2 on XWIS.

I even played a 4v4 the other day it was a blast.

 

It's XWIS's time to go. No one (with sanity) is willing to pay 10 euros to play on a empty server for two 14 year old games.

Besides that, anyone who wanted to improve this server / site got told to 'dream on'...

Had an epic night of 3v3s on CnCNet Friday night. Actual good competitive games on great maps like sedona pass, east vs. best, heck etc. Speed is just so good. Makes it much more enjoyable.

 

Ra2 is coming soon I think, and ladders too. You can play red alert 1 online. I can't think of anything more fun than learning and playing these classics.

 

Reason it's so good is its simplicity. Desktop client. Works everytime. No stupid connection errors. A few other cool features including settings for dogs unable to eat engis, engis can only capture low health buildings.

When were Yuri's Revenge and Red Alert 2 released as freeware? I must've missed the announcement.

That's nice indeed. It seems routers (NAT) get worse and worse and people can't be bothered to setup DMZ.
