Hello there,

Bought the first decade... looking to get RA2 online working.

I've installed the game and installed the patch. signed up and got a nickname.

when i try to go online, it just comes up with the old connecting to westwood online.... can't seem to get through to the Xwis custom match lobby.

any suggestions as this is driving me slightly mental.

thanks.

Have you tried installing the XWIS Multiplayer version of RA2?

The 'patch' does not contain a ra2.exe. Meant Red Alert 2.exe? Right-click, run as administrator.

What OS are you running?

Display problems (e.g.: "Unable to set the video mode"):
Go to your C&C directory, run ccsetup.exe and set the screen resolution to 640x480 (or, with the 1.06 patch, 1024x768 )
Also try changing the refresh rate on your monitor to 60 Hertz:
Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced > Monitor (XP)
Control Panel > Personalization > Display Settings > Advanced Settings > Monitor (Vista)
