disconnected from server

Best Answer Enj0y, 21 January 2015 - 06:13 PM

Found the problem, thought I better let you know.

It was Utorrent Ver 3.4.2, even after exiting in was still in processes list, and same as on wife's laptop too.

the moment I ended it in task manager no problems connecting to xwis.

I went to go qm nick is (ffg) all I get is you've been disconnected from server, I entered the right password.

Also when I do get on into lobby and play, in game I get message that i lost connection to server and cant get back on

always having trouble logging on and getting disconnection from server so sick off it, when it happens i have to use moblie data then back to my isp.

I had this problem for awhile now, no other internet problems only ra2.

been trying to figure out whats going on.

I will try another router later today, if it ends up being the same can admins look into server logs see if I been rejected from server?

this problem is very random

My primary how I connect to internet?

Default is Wifi, I using the 5 ghz my card is Gigabyte GC-WB876D-I

when I lose connection to server, I still have internet

My router/modem is netgear DGND4000, I've reset so many times to default.

ADSL+2 connection

I only use my mobile data from phone ( connect via phones hotspot) when ra2 plays up.

I hope I got it right what you're asking

Try using a 2.5 ghz wifi connection

You may need to forward your ports.

You might want to try a wired connection.

I tried wired, a different WiFi adapter 2.4 and 5 ghz, another router/modem, updated WiFi software/drivers done all sorts.

In the end rang my ISP moaned at them if they blocking in anyway I leave to new ISP after 10 years.

they sent me a email with a to do list, only thing I did was

netsh winsock reset

ipconfig /flushdns

restarted computer and router

then I turned off WiFi software and just use windows WiFi manager

I was on last night logging in and out and playing  no problems, and tested logging in this morning
