forget the things of 32bit Mode (Olaf suggested to set on 16bit mode but after your advices i only had to switch back on 32bit Mode and it runs--thank you a lot 4 that)

Only the disconnecting problems are still there after playing an online game.

You may have other problems with Win 8 that should be fixed with members on XWIS who also has win 8

It's related to the drivers of the network chip you're using. What are you using?

You could reformat and install W7.
W8 isn't known for troublefree support of TS and RA2.

Why would you get win8?

It has no real benefits over win 7..

when I try that res patch and change to game.exe it says the game file size is wrong and will not do anything.. tried everything in this thread.

updated video driver.. tried in 16 bit, run as admin, win98 etc..
