when do you get your new card?
My friend had minimizing problems, at the end it was teamviewer which was causing the game to minimize. After close and stop teamviewer app all went back to normal. You have probably same issue, one application or service is causing this.it's possible it could be teamviewer actually, thanks for the heads up, turbozob!

I doubt it's a video card issue. It must be a anti-virus program or something similar. Try disabling all your anti-virus software or anything in the task bar and see if it resolves.
If you have a HP or Dell. You probably still have all the bloatware. Uninstall the garbage.

Definitely not got a branded system. My PC is a custom built gaming system. Either way, Kaspersky Internet Security has gaming profile enabled, I have tried disabling everything for KIS though - no help.Turbozob has the right idea.

Bump/update: Now Yuri's Revenge is doing the same thing. I'm using the Resolution fixer application but none of the resolutions are working.
Try disabling all services which are not from microsoft and disable programs at startup, restart PC and start the game again. If the game does not minimize than it means one of the service or running program at startup is the problem, which you will have to find out by yourself, narrowing the selection.
