I am looking to set up 6 player games on Yuri's Revenge Saturday, October 11th.

The time that I am seeking to start the first game will be: 8:30pm CDT (midwest USA time).

 

I will be looking to play until 1am, so roughly 4.5 hours of gameplay.

 

The map-list will continually change after every game:

 

- 3on3 East vs. Best

- Free for all or 3on3 on Sedona Pass

- Crazy land rush games on Heck Freezes over (free for all, all stay in middle as france, etc.)

- Free for All on Powder keg (if it doesn't lag)

- Bermuda Triangle (2on2on2)

- Near Ore Far 3on3

- Army of the Potamac 3on3 with Supers

etc.

 

The requirements are as follows:

1. I must get 5 confirmed players who will join me at this time, otherwise it's not worth my time.

2. All 5 players should be players that will play for at least an hour and a half. We can't have someone playing one game, leaving, and then the 5 of us waiting around 30 minutes for another player.

3. The time (for me at least) is set at 8:30pm CDT, to ensure reliability, this time WILL be the time that I'd log in, no earlier or later.

4. ALL skill level players are welcome.

 

If we get 5 of us who will join, we will surely have fun times. If it doesn't lag, maybe I'll record the games.

Please only post a 'yes' if you can confirm that you will be there permitting we get all 6 of us.

Your Ra2 nickname WILL work on this free yuris revenge copy, so for you Ra2 purists out there that haven't gotten a chance to play the greatness of a 6 player battle, this is your chance!

 

Only confirm your slot if you are sure that you will be there.

 

Also, backups are welcomed and needed, feel free to join us on yuris revenge, start your own ffgs (2on2's etc.) while we are playing as we will need backups as the night progresses. So, LOG IN to YR on Saturday nights!

I would love to join, but have a friends coming in this weekend. I will possibly be able to play a couple for the first hour, so you can put me down as an alternate, but I am not sure what this weekend will hold for me as I am also working Sat and Sun.

Perfect. Come if you can, I will be on. Per last time, people had trouble getting started at the proper time, so who knows - maybe we can get an a couple early games in with you.

Just to update: Everything is rocking for me. I will be on FFG'ing at 8:30pm CDT tonight. Also, prior to this time, I will be in YR qm lobby looking for a few games here and there while i clean/study/etc.

Yeah, I'm calling this one off- only 1-3 people have willed to be on, as it stands now, no activity on YR 30 minutes out.

 

I have plenty of other things I need to do tonight rather then waste my time on a hopeless shot of (great) games of YR.

Yuri may be dead, but the community is still alive.

I thought for sure there would be more of a response to this type of thread.

 

I suppose the time zone may be throwing people off, but still, it's sad to see only a few (1-3) people willing to participate :'(.

I am itching to play again, I have just moved and been busy with an actual big boy job unfortunately. I would love to set up some 3v3's with some old players, albeit rusty, and get some gaming in. I know I am probably past my competitive days, but I am sure I can still beat 98% of this community. Ha just kidding, don't freak out.

LOL, it was the same with me, in terms of multi-player anyway, I got on and slapped some eco clanboy in 1 or 2 cms then called them all noobs and logged off for the next half a year, then I repeated..
