Use compatbility settings on ra2's executables.

 

Windows 98/XP compatbility

Disable desktop composition

Run as administrator.

Technically, it's a problem that occurs since windows XP due to desktop window compositing, the windows (apps, software, games, folder views) are on separate layers (especially DirectX / OpenGL rendered windows) and sometimes they fail to refresh, especially in older DirectDraw games.

 

If you'd be up for it I'd like you to test an alternative fix for this. PM me if you'd like to take part.
