Hi guys,

 

Been a while, i used to play this game from 2000 till 2005/2006 and some of you might remember Papsarmy, and his son? (me:p)

Well, i reinstalled everything, but i have got a problem.

When i press my windows button it immediatly goes to my desktop, and when i would want to return to RA2 i only get a black screen.

Sound are on, i can command units because i hear the acknowledgements and money rollin'.

 

But no view! Just a black screen, and then i have to CRTLALTDLT to close Ra2 and do it over again. Already lost 2 matches because of this.

 

I already tried the multiple screen topic which is pinned, but that diden't help.....

Olaf, i use windows 8, run it in WinXP SP3 compatible mode...

I started playing again early last year.. Mayb just befor that. Started playing quiet a bit but I'm not on as much any more. Normally play in evenings. I'm a family man now, so family come first

But anyway, nothing works anymore.

Can't even startup the game. Worthless.

When i download Red Alert 2 from www.meeting-grounds.net/ i can play online, while i can't play online with the Multiplayer client which is free to download here.

Maybe you can track the problem this way Olaf?

I would PM you but coulden't find the button, i'm lazy.

 

Anyway, i can play again but this doesen't include the new maps and no ss shait...

Nope Olaf i also can't ALT+TAB, but it is playable again.

 

EDIT: Hi tomi, i used to remember you as the greatest player in Ra2 history. Dayummmm i never stood a chance vs you even when i was at my prime....

Yep same problem. Already lost a few games cause i misclicked on the windows button.

And everytime I close the game the game crashes and i have to alt tab and end the process to get my computer working again.

Rest works fine though!
