It's such a short distance you don't need to move your mcv since you won't run low cash before your second ref is already built in the ideal location by stretching

 Lol obviously with the new version hence y i said killing trees with tank. Anyways right side must be way op now should of left the same. don't always need to perfect every map and make them cookie cutters.

Don't need bs balance on maps either. Having fair odds from both spots makes this kind of maps easier to learn by the beginners.

reconcile? just played it, i dont see alot of potential on it besides slow campy games, or am i missing something? (nm, just played it 2nd time, didnt even realise the gems first game... seems just fine the map now with it)

 

also is xwis delayed by like a second or is it just me?

Standard. Play on QQ/GR/Tunngle/Hamachi and you notice immediately.

The delay has always been there, unless you have a very good connection and play vs some one with one too.

It's not caused by XWIS the delay is caused by the game's way of handling the internet traffic between you and your opponent.

 

I've played a game with with over 300 FPS over XWIS, which felt like 0 lag.

im talking about the server, joining qm - joining lobby/games seems to be delayed/slower than usual (alot of "requesting chalnnel list", etc), so i was asuming there might be an issue with xwis or there might be an update.

 

the gamespeed ingame is just as always..

It's a limit set by the game internals not by the server.

When I helped Iran test his network tweaks/hacks he disabled the limit.

 

Namely speed 6 is capped at 60 fps on internet multiplayer, but on skirmish speed 6 it's uncapped, if the limit is removed you can have the same speeds on xwis.

Most of the lag on XWIS is caused by the game, LAN is faster because it uses different settings from the internet multiplayer.

 

@tomi : Olaf did recently move to a new server so it might be that what's causing the troubles.

 

 

 

Anyway, back on topic, good job on another decent map being added.
