I'd like to formally request a downloadable map pack of the xwis maps in FFG form, or at the very least a separate download for them.

I dont think one should be made available. Creating such a pack makes the newer maps of ours available on other servers, if players want to play XWIS maps they can play them on XWIS.

Martin knows how to unpack maps from original file, i think it's up to Josh to decide, once i asked him and he gave them to me.
Many xwis players plays in other servers, also if Westwood made their maps available for everyone then do the same for the new maps.

Why?
I want to play the maps with people who do not have the map patch.
The reason the download should be made available is because the XWIS MP version is not a viable option for people with Windows 8.

No. I could speculate but I don't like speculation.
Give them your xwis.mmx file and you should be good to go.I want to play the maps with people who do not have the map patch.
