Hi all,

Randomly started happening.

When I open Ra2 I just get a flashing white screen. At first I thought I must have had a GFX card problem. But it only does it when I open Ra2 and it affects my whole computer. So even if I manually reboot my CPU my screen will boot with a flashing white screen to Windows.

After a while it fixes itself, but if I then open Ra2 it starts again...

Not seen this issue posted before, would appreciate any help... Can't re-install Ra2 as I lost my disc and serial number a long time ago :(

Thanks/David

FYI this is the screen, if that helps understand what a white screen looks like :)

Probable causes

  • Damaged graphics card, the damage appears when you use it in DirectX7 mode..
  • Corrupt windows files, might need to do a system restore or a fresh install (of windows)
  • Corrupt DirectX installation, download the installer and repair it.
  • You have a e-STI.

Is your display connected via VGA or DVI?

This crappy monitor only supports VGA. Perhaps I should just buy a decent monitor with a DVI connection!

DVI is a must if you're a PC gamer.
