You've said this in another topic but it's not true. Only takes a shot.
regardless, even having snipers.. a flak full of deso can decimate your army

Robot Tanks are very good units that are rarely used, they are cheap, build very fast and can quickly kill miners.
Here is just one example of how they can be used:

Tank destroyers can be good vs grizzly tanks, esp in meat grinder.

Robot tanks do have quite a lot of weaknesses. IMO thy are only good on water maps or vs Yuri. id much rather send a few grizzlys to take out miners then robot tanks (unless water map) and ofc whilst you are building them you have to stop building grizzlys

I played against GB, and Sniper IFV takes 2 shots to kill a Desolator. Just try it.
How about you try it?
EDIT: It does take two Even an elite sniper ifv takes two shots (with a veteran sniper inside).

haha
@ eman but I would argue that you controlled your units better in this example. And mass subs in a ranked game will refer to a much different level of production. In order for subs to be viable against allied navy I'd say you typically must begin building them before the allied produces naval units, even in cases where choke points exist and desos can be used to trap/slow dolphin movement, its quite hard to regain control of the sea.

Was it a headshot tho?

Any sniper in any ifv can kill a deso in one shot.

Personally i think Chrono legionares are underused, vs sovs they are very effective, ive seen some players give me a really hard time by placing chrono's strategically or using them as fodder vs rhino's.

Can, or does?
Share your secrets please oh wise one
I'm going to try it out tonight Since everyone says it takes two shots then you're probably right haha. I thought it depended if the deso was deployed or not and if it was moving but I could be totally wrong.

Underused in YR. In Ra2 long games i found they were used quite often. Esp. against better players.

I don't think it's a bug. Prism technology uses solar energy i belive, and on deserts the sun is more powerfull, ya?
It's not just desert maps, and not every desert map does it, it's most likely a bug, but allied are underpowered anyways so it usually gives them some help!
Incorrect. Prizim towers on Yr have different level's of damage depending on terrain type. I have no idea why but ive noticed this over the years.
No, you're all incorrect.
This has been proven to be a bug, by the PPMsite modders, their research into the prism support bug, being due to some ini changes in the maps. The UMP (unofficial mini patch) that fixes that bug properly notes the maps that it occurs on and why.
It's a inconsistency that appears due to a bug in the game engine. Please do your research before you claim that your answer is correct.
Here's some documentation to back it up : https://ares-developers.github.io/Ares-docs/bugfixes/type1/prismsupportbugs.html

Legionares are very useful in AvS, I love sneaking one in the Soviets base while they are getting ready to use IC at my base and right as they are getting in position I turn their power off with the Legionare and just eat up their 9 tanks with mirage.

This was for the chrono leg comment btw

I don't think chrono's are really that underused as the few good allied players who play use them pretty consistently when possible.... just not very many allied players
