Please be aware this player is using the alt bug. If anyone else is alted by the player please post a screenshot of it happening in this thread.

Actually XGS should show it. Normally the average attacking distance for armored units is a few cells from the target structure, thus XGS would show that there is distance between the attacking unit and it's target, when ALT moved the attacking units would move abnormally close to the target structure, also usually the force move command is issued multiple times in the case of an ALT, which would make it even more obvious. I'm not sure if XGS shows commands being re-issued. In theory it should display as "force-move -> attack -> force-move -> attack" in the case of the ALT order being re-issued to the units.

Don't want to turn this into a discussion but alt in cases like this kind of makes sense. In real life if a tank was close to a building and another tank was firing at it it the building would take damage. Repeated alting to stop units exiting is different tho i guess....

You can tell by the relationship of each enemy tank's orientation that they arrived at this position through the alt command. Regardless if it realistically makes sense for the building to take splash damage, the issue in question is the deliberate exploitation of this "bug".

Alting is clearly not a bug and in most cases -ev, the idea of banning people for doing this is hilarious to me.
