If you download the RA2 client from xwis.net the resolution patch is included -> So you can play QM and Lobby games in higher Resolutions like 1600x1200 or higher...

 

But in Yuri it doesn't work... - When you join a Lobby game or a QM, there is a warning that you have to change your resolution to 640x480??

 

 

 

It's possible to fix this? (like the included resolution patch in RA2?)

This doesn't work as the exe has been changed, so using this patch gives an error.

 

You can patch it yourself if you know the address and the hex to change, go to ppmsite.com and ask those guys.

I post the problem in this forum. - But why isn't it possible that Olaf or an other XWIS-Admin patch the .exe file and upload it on XWIS. So everyone can play Red Alert 2 AND Yuris Revenge in higher resolutions??

I don't know, he could have easily pre patched the gamemd.exe with YR reso patch before modifying it to suit his needs.
