Not sure if I posted this in the right place, but I really require the help of a moderator. I have tried to create a nick for Command and Conquer Renegade so I can play multiplayer in the same way as Red Alert 2 (which plays fine). When I entered my serial for renegade however, I received this message: "Serial has been registered already (S: 675672, U: 113458)". I have purchased the game from a reputable store, never given out my serial or loaned my game to anyone. Thus, I can only assume that whoever else has the serial number got it illegally. Any moderator that can assist me in resolving the issue? Here is proof that I do indeed own the game:

Bought it new from the retail store quite a few years ago.

I am not sure exactly which year I bought it, but it was at least 8 years ago. I have checked my records, noticing that I bought things from that store in 2003, 2004 and 2006. Its one of these dates, but I would have to dig out the cash receipt to find the exact one. 

 

I haven't used it online before. I've tried to connect to servers on one occasion maybe a year or more ago without success. Didn't learn about the XWIS registration until I tried to play in multiplayer with Red Alert 2 a few months later.
