Back then I started to Play ar2/yuri when it first was released and kept playing for a very Long time. I even played on the very old Westwood sever and saw the whole Server dying in Hands of EA.
Then xwis overtook and I was pretty happy, I kept playing a year or less, not sure. When all my friends quitted and the game was so empty and I developed myself, I quitted till today. Today I thought im giving it a try and I was supriced I still can remember my account here, I registred it almost 10 years ago.
Wow time passes by so fast. But anyway, I've got a question. I don't remember the place of my own copy of yuri. I still had an Image of it on my HDD. Back then (Westwood times) I scammed Serials (i fooled some guys who asked me for moneyhack over and over thought it's their punishment). Wanted to pass those to friends but they never played. Before I quitted I was pretty sure every Serial is valid and works on xwis. I never cheated and if I did (it was even before EA).
Now my Problem. every Serial I try gives me the error that the Serial has been banned for approx 21 years. Not sure it says 20,7 if I remember right, but that's for every Serial, as well as the time of being banned is the same. So I thought I may didn't Change it properly. I honestly doubt every of that 8-10 Serial were banned for cheating 4-5 years after I scammed 'em from those guys. I'd like to test my own, whichs clean for sure, but since then I may get some help here. What's a good way to Change the Serial? I tried reinstall, googled for it and changed regedit, also a file in westoodfolder, but it keeps giving me that error.
My first thought was the Server were gone. Gone for ever, but Posts in this Forums are pretty new as well as Rankings so I doubt it shouldn't work? Or do we have to use hamatchi or similar stuff? I just click Internet, Lobby etc like I was used to be.
Help would be appreciated. After almost 10 years I wanted atleast a couple onlinematches.
