Dog tricks? Wow, some ppl think too much into it. :)

Yeah I was able to win dog battles 90%of the time you can ask anyone who played against me on yr lol

There are a lot of tricks/glitches/tactics I know that older players taught me, I seen, or figured out kyself
Like invisible mirage tank, unlimited chrono, crazys rushes for certain maps, but those were during the days I one mapped dune patrol and dry heat (my first two months) . And dog trick actually came to me pretty easy honestly...

Edit:yiu really want to know josh?I have a couple but the main one is pretty legit

To be fair there are some tricks to dogfights. If you understand the "bite" attack mechanics and how the angle plays part in the out-come of the dog battle and you micro the dog well enough. You can increase your chance to win dog battles by a fairly large amouth. However you will still not win em all, its just to much "luck" involved. If the enemy is bad with his dogs thought i think u can win like 70-80% of the dog battles if you know what your doing though.

:D
One thing about dog battles I found out"maybe only in yr" is you can increase chance by a bit more than 80% by one simple technique, but alas. My holy grail of tricks,Bo's, and tactics escape me.... For the time being.

Its not 50/50, it depends on angle and understand how the bite-attack works. So there is some skill involved.

You can't argue with people on here, they are all professionals and are never wrong unless they are 100% proven wrong lol.
That's one thing this community has taught me.
I know what you're saying tho, I've been saying it since 06with people saying I'm wrong but magically I always won dog battles :re:

Well its easy to set up a scenario where you can prove its not only luck. Ive done quite abit of ra2/yr modding so i have a decent understand how the bite-attack works (dogs weapon). If you set up 2 dogs really close to eachother like this:

_

|

So one dog has its head pointed towards the other dogs belly as shown in my really poorly made illustration. In this scenario the dog that has its head pointed towards the other dogs belly will win like 99-100% of the dogfights assuming they start close to eachother. There are also less obvious tricks to dogfights.

However if someone claim dog fights is 100% skill then they are lying aswell, its more of a combination between skill and luck.
