Hi, me and a few friends (mightyf0x etc.) are trying to play Yuri'sRevenge on GameRanger since there are only ever 1/2 rooms open on XWIS; both of them Tour of Egypt...

Some of us purchased the game from Olaf on Strike Team, others have the CD Copy.

Those of us who purchased it here are having the Serial Key issue on Game Ranger.

Can someone help us? At the moment we can only play on XWIS which isn't good enough since nobody plays Yuris anymore.

Thanks

The downloadable versions all use the same serial key in their data files. I know of the error you speak of.

You can open the file containing it with notepad and edit it directly to be something else. It should prevent the error.

Frequenzy means that you need to change some digits (at least 10) then save & retart the game, this will prevent same serial error, if it happens again edit with notepad again and try.

Problem is, we cant seem to find the Woldata.key in the Red Alert 2 Folder.

We can see WOLAPI.ini amongst other files such as wolinfoMD.ini

This is the same across Vista and & Win7 which we are using.

Don't use xwis version, you need CD one.

Woldata.key is not in the XWIS version of the game, use origins dl version or a CD version.

Is woldata.key still needed? I though one just needs to edit the serial entry in the registry? (works for LAN at least)
