Most people here know my YouTube channel (dsect0r) and all of my subscribers are RA2 fans . Also, if someone watches any of my videos while I'm live streaming, they will be notified that a live stream is going on.

 

You can also search for live streams on YouTube. You can also advertise it on YouTube ads (if you want to pay).

On twitch, the only people that ever watch are the ones that find my link on XWIS.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Is a youtube streaming channel free ?And do i need a webcam for it ?

I will be doing a LIVE stream in a few minutes to answer questions that new / potential players might have. I will also play some games. This will hopefully be advertised on the official Facebook RA2 page.

 

EDIT: I'll start once Sean comes online to advertise it on the Facebook wall.

EDIT 2: I'll do it sometime this weekend instead.

Yes, they're automatically saved on YouTube. I only recorded two yesterday which were not worth watching so I didn't save them but I'll stream some more tomorrow or next week.

I think it's better for several reasons:

 

- recordings are automatically saved on YouTube

- you can watch the stream at several different qualities

- you can "go back in time" when watching the live stream

- you can advertise the live stream on YouTube

- YouTube is used by everyone, unlike twitch

 

 

Whatever you do here, you do it good.
