Hey everyone. Most of you have been complaining about the quality and freezing of my stream. I did some research and figured it out.

 

 

 

Constantly lag/buffer for EVERYONE IN EUROPE!

Twitch, isnt it about time to fix your shit? For several months now the whole freaking Europe has issues due to stream lag/buffer. And when finally this genius comes with an addon to our browser so we can use US servers wich contains no lag/buffer, and THEN you "fixed" that, so now it doesnt work anymore.

Cant handle other random people doing a better job than you guys? Come on. Give us some updates on this issue. Its really about time!!!!

All my friends (IRL and online) who uses Twitch has the same issues. I got 40/40 fiber connection. i7-3770k@3,9Ghz, 16GB 1600Mhz RAM, GTX 770 and running OS on SSD. So my computer or internet connection is not the issue here.

Yesterday I got it confirmed for myself that it's all on Twitch's end, it's obvious that the update in December 2013 ruined shit for everybody except partnered streamers and only a few not partnered can get past.

As stated in my earlier questions and thoughts I could stream perfectly fine in September 2013, and there we have it.

Now we just have to wait for an update again that will fix this or else we shall depart from Twitch for good and find a new place we can call home.

 

 

I know most of you don't live in the U.S and that may be the problem when viewing my stream and i'm sorry. 

 

 So, the answer to giving you a good stream is to become a partner. 

 

There is only one problem with this.. 

 

 

Requirements

To qualify as a Twitch Partner, we look for:

• Average concurrent viewership of 500+ (not just a one-time peak)
• Regular broadcast schedule of at least 3 times a week
• Content that conforms to our Terms of Service and DMCA Guidelines

Minimum broadcast requirements are a general guideline. Exceptions are handled on a case by case basis. We're always excited by broadcasters who stream unique games!

 

HOWEVER, the 2nd bold might help. I'm submitting an application and i'll be adding xwis information along with some of my ranks to help sway them in a good direction.

 

I'm also going to add a link to this topic hoping that they can see that you guys want to see my stream. 

 

I stream for you guys and it's only ra2. I often refuse to stream due to the lag everyone receives and then complain about it.

 

So, what I need from you guys is to give me some input. Help me, help you! Let them know that you do want to watch my stream by posting it on here and lets hope they check this place.

I tried for this edd. I Only have 40 followers and get about 5 people viewing if I stream for a while :/ I didint mean the criteria but I thought they would give some one like me a chance but yeah they declined it! But nvm ha. Goodluck with yours.

Damn, that sucks. How long did it take for them to get back to you?

I can't remember how long exactly! I think two weeks! I'd imagine they get loads of people doing it. You can msg them back also and ask them why they have declined you ect

What do you use? My screen flickers ( on live stream when I tab to steam )whilst in game :/

I also want to have the pop ups where if somebody follows or donates that it pops up on he screen but having difficulty on doin that.

I use xsplit broadcaster.

I think that the option to get notifications when someone follows or donates is part of being a twitch partner.

I still want to stream HD without having others lag. My pc can handle it. I need to figure it out.

Steffen streams on xsplit as well. I set up obs for him but it was crap, so we just did xsplit and he has really good quality with it, lag free.

No, I haven't heard from them yet. Btw, I did figure out how to do it... But I can't get it t work. Look up a YouTube video, there's many about that.
