[Olaf]

Last week, XWIS was attacked by an anonymous coward, a so called Denial of Service attack. Unfortunately this caused a lot of downtime and a lot of work. Our old provider, Hetzner, was not able to support us, so we had to move to a new provider. Hopefully this will solve the problem and prevent any further downtime.
All services should be back up, games should count, ladders are up. If you notice anything missing, don't hestitate to notify staff.

if any future attacks happen again, maybe its time to track the guy doing it and giving him what he deserves, he probably doesnt know its a crime and most likely isnt over 18

Usually before doing such attack the coward hide his path with another ip, so it is hard to track him.

Olaf DoSed the server to gain morale support AND to also hide the fact he dropped the whole server to a shit tier server level, saving him money.

He is a prime example of the top 1%, selfish and desperate.

you're quite a tool, even if he dropped the server level for cost on him, you aren't forking up a dime for cost, so seems to me he can do that if he wants.

Well after reading this DylHole guys posts my first thoughts are... What an idiot has no clue what he is on about, and I like they said "They" dont see "you" paying anything towards the server box bill and as for the DDoS protection I specialise in DDoS security having helped a few Renegade community back in the day protect them selfs against DDoS and btw DylHole if olaf was 2 DDoS his own server what joyment would be get out of it cause ddos screw a lot of things up means he would just have 2 fix them and if you want 2 stop ddos you need 2 learn networking and security first n00b.
