Problem with selfmade Final Alert maps

Hi,

 

I guess most or many of you know the map-making program for ra2 called "Final Alert" (not the ingame random-mapmaker). I recently made an awesome map with it and now I have a really f*cked up problem.

If I open a game and a player joins who already has my map, and I ONLY play with him, everything works fine. Also if NONE of the players in the game have the map and all download it in the same round everything still works fine.

The problem is, if a player joins who HAS the map, and other players who DON'T have it, the player who already has it can't connect to the rest of the players, it only works if he deletes the map from his westwood folder and downloads it again with all the other players who don't have it. As you probably can imagine that is really annoying, does anyone of you know why that happens and if there is a solution?

The connection of the player who has the map times out during the transfer to other players (i think)

Yes.

 

As the players are attempting to connect the map is transferring to the player(s) who do not have the map while the player(s) who do have it are stalled at the connection screen until the map is fully transferred. It is possible for the map to transfer quick enough, the connection to continue, and everyone to enter the game, however.
