Hey I'm trying to download these audio file.. ( Warning military software detected. Top Secret Clearance Require.. Encryption code required. You have 30 seconds to comply.)

I have the xcc mixer utility but I am lost on how to use it..  Can anyone give me a good step by step instruction for finding those exact files and downloading them and converting them into usable audio files?

All I can find using the AV viewer is the theme musics .. none of the other sounds or other audio forms

You'll need one of the 'setup.mix' files, which are located in the original RA2 installation disks (I think what you're after is in the Soviet disk).

Use XCC AV Player to open and extract the lines that you want, exactly the same way you did with the soundtracks ("theme musics"). There should be a lot of lines of speech as well as sfx so you'll have to play them one by one to find them.

Btw, besides enjoyment, what else did you expect to get in return from RA2/YR? :D

Thank you but.. that is bad news. My red disk broke long ago all I have is the blue disk.. Now I'm really bummed.. I don't understand why I need the red disk though. because I can still download the game from the blue disk and still says the whole.. Warning military software thingy....       Oh and I got way to into this game.. if I lost it was a little to personal. I don't know why but just something about losing this game really got to me.

I hate being wrong so I looked into this further :p...

Using XCC AV Player, you can extract the line: "Encryption code required, you have 30 seconds to comply" from either RA2 installation disk, but you cannot extract the line:

"Warning military software detected, top secret clearance required" as this comes from an EXE file (autorun.exe). To extract this line, you'll have to use programs that extract sounds, pictures, movies and other items from EXE files. One such program is 'Resource Hacker'.

I've taken the liberty of extracting and uploading the two lines for you...

"Warning military software detected, top secret clearance required"
"Encryption code required, you have 30 seconds to comply"

You're welcome :D.

(What's it for anyway if you don't mind me asking... for when you start up Windows? :p)

My red disk broke long ago all I have is the blue disk..

That's funny.  together we wouldn't be able to make a complete set, as I gave my brother the red disc 11 years ago, and he hasn't seen it in at least 6 years.  My blue disc looks like it has been through a war with all the scratches on it too.
