It's been dead for the last 5 years according to topics on ST.
Could have sworn it's been even longer than that 
You just need to go on at the right time and you'll be able to find games, can't say I've really had a problem with matching people at almost any time of the day on ra2 since I started playing again(can't say the same for yuri's though)

Come on John. Look at the stats. People are still playing.

People started complaining how dead it was in 2003 already

OK say the topic title and posts are irritating me a little.
Maybe a different word should be used. Not dead but 'inactive' maybe.... You cannot be really dead, very dead or quite dead. It is either DEAD or not.
but you can normally get a game

yep no one on any more..5 years ago you make a game and you have to kick like 15 ppl b4 mates can get in..now make a 2v2 and see how long you w8...2 dead 4 me

depends how many friends you got
for me it fills up straight away
