Recently bought a copy of C&C the first decade from amazon, eagerly jumping at the opportunity to live out some of my youth again! All the single player elements seem to be playing fine, but everytime I try connecting online I get an error message from windows 7 'Red alert 2 has encountered an internal error and is unable to continue normally' and then the game closes.

 

I've set up my XWIS username and password, set Ra2.exe, game.exe and mph.exe to run as administrator in compatibility mode for windows xp, but still no luck

 

Any help out there?

My name is Jason, but everyone calls me Commander Rylak, or in this case simply Rylak on here due to the name length limitation.  Anyways I am new to this website and very much looking forward to meeting some new people on here. 

 

 

I have been playing the Command & Conquer franchise on and off since it first came out.  I recently purchased the newest compilation called Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection.  The emphasis being that they all are digital copies that I can download and install at my liesure.  Optimized to run on newer Windows Vista and or Windows 7.  Last but not least is having support for multiplayer support once again 

 

 

Anyways I hope to have an opportunity to meet and talk to some of you folks.

I haven't played CNC games (especially my fave: Red Alert 2) for 7-8 years already and since I got my CNC Ultimate Collection I am planning to return.

 

I am currently re-playing Campaign mode for Allied and I am definitely an Online Play noob, so I need help when it comes to kickass strategies. Also looking for a friendly clan.

 

Besides CNC I am also playing Battlefield 3 and Medal of Honor Warfighter.
