What happened? It seems that allies have no chance now.

Soviets make a drone to protect 2 bottom oil derricks and a flak with 4 engineers to repair the bridge, take 1st middle derrick and go bottom with 2 more engineers.
Allies need 2 engi ifvs to take the middle derrick, helicopter doesn't work anymore as derrick is walled. They're obviously late.
So it should be 4-1 in oil derricks, maybe 3-2 if no drone protecting bottom.

Another cold soviet day.

 and free airdrop for allies that soviet cant get, not to mention the chrono ability to eat all the gems at bottom. Map was heavy in allies favour before. mabye 3-2 in oil but u get para, and have teh ability to eat most of the gems, i havent seen the changes but if its not as strong for allies as it was, its a good thing.

a number of maps have been updated- Ill be releasing full details soon. As for ACD the changes were made by jj himself (allied player) and we discussed them thoroughly. This version will not need to be mirrored.

i noticed ur new map is in qm, had it twice today, makes for gg's :)

(don't exaggerate, soviets can (in previous map version) take the tech, make 2-3 refs there and stop allies from mining bottom by splitting 2-3 tanks that can hide behind the miners, so it's not all for allies) Map was heavy in allies favour before. mabye 3-2 in oil but u get para, and have teh ability to eat most of the gems, i havent seen the changes but if its not as strong for allies as it was, its a good thing.


Map that favours allies is unacceptable, so let's turn it into another soviet map! Yay! Only this side has a right to have OP maps. Ok.
4 oils for soviets, 1 for allies as a drone protecting bottom derricks + engi flak can't be stopped in time by allies. No gems, no paradrop as compensation.

Josh, you used to ask various players to test your maps, every little change, every tactics. That's why they are good and that's why this one isn't (even if it's JJ's an allied player's map).

From what i have read here, this seems ridiculous. 

 

It shouldnt have been changed imo since good players can be evenly matched (sovs or allies) so there was no need for changes.

I think the walled off oil is a bit much.

 

Going helicopter early in the game is a risk vs reward situation....if you could get the oil and a paradrop, and hold off a rush....you could almost say gg.

 

With the walls up, you've eliminated one of the 2 reasons to make a helicopter.  And as originally stated; if  a soviet player stocks a flak trak, he can repair bridge and take out sand bags with the flak trak (a single unit, where an ally would need either 2 IFVs or 2 trips to capture the oil.
