Tiberian Sun loves XP but runs fine on Windows 7 as long as you run as admin, Windows 8 is a complete nightmare

It will allow you to install the game but when you run it no writing or controls show on screen  :baby:

After a lot of searching around I managed to find fixes for the slowdowns in the older C&C's on Win8 including Tiberian Sun

Glad I was able to find this topic so I can fix Tiberian Sun. You would've thought that if EA Games were gonna go to the trouble of making The Ultimate Collection that they would first make sure the games would work with newer versions of Windows.

Bundling / packaging existing games is far easier then fixing those games.

I have windows 7 and I can't get the game to work with the cncnet download. As soon as I start any game, online or skirmish, my screen freezes and I am forced to shut down the game.

Any ideas?
