I just checked my verison is the same as above and it's still crashing so I have uninstalled it.

there are more problems when i join mod games, rather then ww games.

usually get 'main executable has stopped running', so i pretty much use back up

unless i need it, i played a tourny vs alter3go, which recon and i didnt have auto ss.

i made sure i had it for the next 2 games i beat him

i downloaded but auto ss isnt working? should i remove everything ts from my computer and downlooad from scratch?

seems i have 2 versions of ts installed

 

one is the ts/firestorm pack, which launch im currently using

 

the other is the classic tib sun, but i cant seem to change the resolution with that

The icon probably points to Game backup.exe, since it's just a shortcut. You need to make sure that you're running Tiberian Sun.exe

ok i downloaded it. theres no sun.ini to change resolution. i made a notepad sun.ini and put it in the ts file but it wont change something. is there a reso changer or what do i have to do?

 go play a skirmish game it shud generate a sun.ini file . dont forget to restart game and edit sun.ini as administrator

if i change the sun.ini and want to save it it says:

 

the file c:\program files\tiberian sun\sun.ini cant be build.

 

make sure that the path and filename is correct

 

 

argh!

 

 

btw.: auto ss works fine so far!

1. The game is closed
2. That notepad is run as administrator

I got a query/question. Haven't played in a couple of months now, but just tried a game and couldnt find any way of using a key to select all teamtype members. I.e. click light inf press t and all light infs on screen are selected, and there's no option in the keyboard controls. Using the multuiplayer only version so that I can use autoss, but having to teamtype selection is a poor trade off for the auto-ss! Any way I can add it in? Can I add keyboard.ini or something?

NVM, after a few games it came up with main executable for tiberian sun has stopped working...

back to back up

happend to me also. if the game is finished theres a pop up "main executable..."

 

it doenst happen every game but i it happens, there arent any screenshots.

 

 

what to do?

i dont know if olaf is still trying to make the auto ss version better but if:

 

i get "main exe.. doenst work"  often when i join mod map games + every few normal games after the game has finished and then it doenst show the ss*s

 

it doenst show ss*s when i get ie or if dc happens.
