I was looking through the Screen Shots and wondering
How do you know who's is who as i cannot see any info ?

You can see what belongs to who by going to their stats link. So e.g

http://xwis.net/ts/games/11131/

Can see those belong to mercury with GDI.

Why do people build their buildings in perfect vertical lines on BBG? I never saw the point. ;*/

I've just uninstalled my Tiberian Sun and Installed that multiplayer only version. I installed that updated version of auto-ss (post #45 in this topic).

But I have the same problem as before. This time Game.exe works though, and I can play tiberian sun.

But if I try any of the other .exe's (like tiberian sun.exe, which to my understanding, is the version with the auto-ss enabled?) gives me the same error as before:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application"

I'm using Windows 7, tried using compatibility mode and running as admin, no diff however

Is Tiberian sun.exe in the same directory as your game backup.exe?

You should have both those .exe files at program files > Tiberian Sun?

Yeah I've already tried that. I want to unistall it again and this time remove every file from the ts directory before reinstalling, but now my Tiberian Sun isn't in the programs and features list to uninstall it :\

edit: I tried just manually moving all files out of my ts directory then installing ts and the auto ss again. Looks like that worked... for some reason. Maybe a conflicting file from the full version was in there?

Edit the edit: It worrrkkkkssss. http://xwis.net/ts/games/13010/

Edit of the edit of the edit: you can see how the map gets darker as you progress through it there :)

It works fine, the only downside is.... because of the needing a serial and game account registered. Not many games are recorded, thus not many games with screenshots....

The sooner all logs count on ladder again the better, even for using auto ss.

No, but I did have an unofficial graphics patch that was posted on here a few weeks ago. While it did improve performance of ts, it caused it to suddenly close occasionally, so I wanted to get rid of that anyway. I thnk that may well have been the cause of my problem, so I wouldn't worry about it unless others get the same issue.

Thanks for doing this guys anyway, working great for me now. Just need everyone's games to be logged again and tib sun will have improved sh-- loads by this. :)

Played 2 games using the auto ss last night but nothing showing, the first game was a mod map
but on returning to windows after the game there was a box asking me to allow the program.
So we re on a ww map and played about for about 3 min just building and chatting,
But still no ss on show...

The icon probably points to Game backup.exe, since it's just a shortcut. You need to make sure that you're running Tiberian Sun.exe

I use the IE patch on my TS, which replaces game.exe. I cannot use auto ss with the ie patch. Using the ie patch is a must! Please investigate incorporating the ie patch into the auto ss exe.

More info on creator of ie patch: http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31604

Hypercc is nice guy and i'm sure if you contact him he will work with you on this.

Windows 8 / 32 Bit
Running as Admin/ XP service pack compatability
first had display issues making it center off screen. resolved that issue....

NOW:
gets to main menu, I click skirmish and the visible menu vanishes. read somewhere if you press enter the game starts. tried this and it did, but crashes after 2 minutes, plus its in hyper speed because I couldn't adjust the options.

Anybody know how to get the menu to display properly so that I can adjust settings to normal speed, and just as importantly get the game to play without crashing after two minutes?
