That's nice mate - thank you.
I just came back to the forum & stumbled on this topic. It's a weird question to answer because in many ways Ra2 was a large part of my childhood / growing up. I'm 27 this year yet vividly remember my school days & the online friends I made in Ra2.
I have so much respect and admiration for a lot of people and friends that I made and it was great to share my experiences of school, the Army & now my adult life with a great community.
There was without doubt something special about the close community that was created off the back of Ra2 and YR and it's something that will live with me for a long time. I have never been a huge gamer really, but to make a connection through an online medium in the way I did was really special.
I enjoyed playing with a lot of people until the game became monotonous with the same BO's / strategies towards the end; but up until that point it was a real pleasure to share the online battlefield with many of you.
I would like to mention just one person & the only reason for this mention is because we connected above and beyond the game and became friends outside of the community for a while - so Mon4rch (rhinotank) if you are out there - I'm going to be a daddy later this year :-) & I hope you are well.
I hope everyone is well & it's great to see so many familiar faces still around :-).
