Years ago I played Red Alert 2 on an old computer. I then bought a new game disc(s) and tried to load it onto a Windows 7 new computer. I got the game loaded but it only works as single player. I could not get online. I set up a new account with XWIS and followed the instructions to play the game. It was evident that I could not download the update for use on the installed disc. So, I uninstalled the disc and l downloaded the RA2 game thru XWIS and then the update. I tried to register my game with the serial number from the game I bought, but I still can't get online. I then bought a serial number thru paypal for $10.00 Euro but I never got a serial number and I don't know what to do to get it,
Bottom line is -- no matter what I do I can't get the game to work online.
HELP!!

Did you make a nickname in your control panel?

Yes I made a nickname. Problem is that it seems to try to connect to "Westwood" - not XWIS and it does not go thru.

Start the game --> Internet --> My Information --> Preferred Server --> XWIS
