guys, its just an idea, but whats about if you bring back the old clan management and log in stuff?
like ,when you typed /join_clan xxx ,when you could type some infos about your clan in xwis like the clan name, the abbrevitation, icq number, msn address, when you created a clan and get a password..where you could have 9 log ins at 1 serial (good, maybe not so much but 3 or 4 would be nice), when you could delete a log in after 30 days and not after 99(!!!) days...
build up the oldschool a bit, maybe it woulda help to boost up the activity?!

i even say that control panel thing is an activetykiller.. how many ppl come here everyday and ask how to play online and i bet 70% dont want buy a serial via paypal or maybe get forced to register here and and and... its just a tool to "control" ppl here..

Hey ladys..i'm sure you want to change something and bring back the old management or?
so many posts are in here "how to play online" ,"need help with serial", etc etc..
so, i would say that all people which want back the old stuff make a lil post in here. dont know how to make a poll with buttons to click so we shoulda do it on this way, maybe olaf hears us then.
my opinion is "old management/stuff" should include the command /join_clan xxx (was pretty easier), if you create a clan that you can type the full name, an abbrevitation, maybe a email-address, and hell yeah, get a ****ing password again.
)
we shoulda set back the log in thing back to 30 days, far away of this 99(!!!) days **** -____-
and maybe we bring up the log in limit to 4, not 2 ^^
page here if you guys like, maybe olaf will give it a chance if we get enough ppl.

olaf, i dont understand your problem.
your job as an admin is to work at the servers, maybe wishes of the players to meet and so on..
you dont shoulda tell ppl what they have to do.
apparently you have to annoy you so since you are taking on players not otherwise ...

I don't have a problem.
Mr. Olaf i get where u coming from with everything else besides the 99 days thing. That's the only thing i agree with the original poster with. I also agree that this topic is very very very very stupid and has been said in 10,000 different ways in different forums but the 99 days thing is dumb

Funny, I was just about to make a thread about the whole /join_clan xxx thing.
You have no idea how many people I haven't been able to invite to my clan because they don't know or want to register through strike-team, login through xwis.net, and place their serials in.
Not everyone has the patience for it. /join_clan is waaay easier. I appreciate the control panel thing, and there are some features that i like about it though.
Legit question: Is there a way to bring back /join_clan xxx feature? Also, what ever happened to the XwisAdmin (just curious)

It's possible. But if people don't (want to) use the CP, they can't reset passwords and they can't create new nicks. They also won't be able to play if they lose their serial for whatever reason.

exactly! I dont even know where my serial is atm >.<. I find the cp easy it was just hard figuring out what was going on after i came back and it was all changed. I guess a lot of people don't like it though.

Like 06 when i started to play. There you installed the game, typed your serial and you were recorded automatically?
You could create a clan at xwis, see your stats, get a pw for clan and nothing else. not like the hard way today.
