hello all,

It about that there's two months I do a lot of video games XWIS, initially I had some lag issues. That were resolved through fireworks and this topic: http://xwis.net/forums/index.php/topic/172414-how-long-to-upload-vids/.

So I installed the XVID codec, so I could play at 55 fps & recording games. (TS, RA2 & YR)
Now I can not do it ... even in skirmish it lags there's constant, yet nothing has changed to my knowledge on my computer. I tried to change the program (at the base do I use hypercam2) I went on bandicam, fraps, camtasia, ... The result is the same. So I know it does not come from the registration program, and it probably is not either of RA2.
I even restored the computer to a previous date. I uninstall the codecs and the videos have to reinstall. But nothing changes ...

Someone there a suggestion that I can do?

try to set "Quality preset" setting as "real-time" in the Xwid codec options.
and choose compress quality 0% in hypercam

48 fps for 8 minutes of games vs guy who have always 55 fps.
it is a little better, but not like before. I always used hypercam setto,gs that are in the Help topic on Strike Team.
May be I should download another video codec. I do not understand why in the space of two months it no longer works correctly when nothing has changed!

Your computer is not fast enough maybe. I seen some of your other videos it has low fps makes it look like its going in fast foward sometimes. Try not playing music when you record??? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3D1Df03Ej7U that is 1080 P lmao thats probaby why you lagging. 1080 is super HD i only record in 720 but it looks good.

The music is not from my computer. The fact is that everything was working there are quite a few months, so this was proof that my computer skills to do so...

Codec XVID I have worked without lag if I only used the 64 bit version, with hypercam 64-bit and 64 bit Windows.

Also you can check free space on hard drive and make defragmentation. :)

Thanks moret,
it looks to get better I'm doing a test, 3 minutes 51 fps .. I will try again when I come back earlier.
But it is still not as there's a few months ... I'm sure there's something on my computer which lag when recording.

You are welcome
+1 tips
Join BIOS (F2 / Del when comp starts) -> check CPU temperature (if above 65 degrees Celsius it is advisable to check the cooling system) and change Performance to optimal :)

Since in this video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3D1Df03Ej7U

I think that you are using it in the codec ffdshow (it is faster but the quality of it is lower than the XVID)

Yeah, all the information are on this topic http://xwis.net/forums/index.php/topic/172414-how-long-to-upload-vids/
Did i need to change something ?

EDIT : I just noticed something!

As you saw in the topic that I gave you, when I use the XVID codec I can not open the video in windows live media player, the video is stuck on my desktop

By cons when I use another video compressor video of RA2 is displayed in the windows live movie maker. No difference in the fps

EDIT2 : I just making a video... 6 min 49 fps i'm trying to host it and check.

I cleaned a little now I have an error message... Could not open video compressor when i start to record: D

Press start when game minimised, then switch to game. This way error message shouldn't appear.
Works with many codecs.

Also check game video settings ini file, there have to be VideoBackBuffer=no for better performance.

Xwid Configuration > Other options > look for "number of threads" option. there must be a number equal to the number of cores of your processor
