Is there any chance to add a file into the ra2 folder for all the lovely ra2 music/sounds?

Also id like the units to respond to me when i click them, i kinda miss that.

In game sounds should still work. Checked your options? Desktop options, RA2 being on mute?

For in game music, copy across the RA2 CD mix files into the RA2 directory.

so basically, maps02, movies02, multi, theme and wdt?

no need to browse the other folders, correct? since there is a setup mix file aswell in the setup folder.

just the ones in the "main" folder i guess.

"multi" and "theme" existed already, so i didnt replace it. so it was maps02, movies02 and wdt.

still doesnt work, gonna replace theme and multi then.

LOl, works now. right when i joined ra2 i heard the epic music again, lovely memories.

like a new/other game. u should implement the music to the patch. even the loading screen owns.

It would be nice to have in the patch, but that only increases the file size - the file to download becomes bigger. I would imagine at some point copyright issues would come into it aswell

awww man, the sad part is, now mount olympus, soverign land, country swing and a few of the new maps are missing, well i got them, but another version then the others ;/

but maps such as off b, off q, yin yang , toe etc work normally ;/

any idea?

think the overwrite screwed some maps, its basically stormy weather, city under siege, sovr land, cs, mount olympus, sinkhole, invasion confirmed and the list down which dont work, all the new maps which arent in qm, such as hail mary, etc until yuris plot.

and then again at alaskan outback down the list it starts to work.

There might have been a mix that shouldn't have been overwritten. Will have to ask Olaf on that one, or someone who knows feel free to post.

do you have the original ones "theme" and "multi" by any chance? from "olafs ra2 download"

too lazzy to reinstall everything to try.

btw movies02, maps02 and wdt arent needed for music, just deleted them

They may be too big to send. If you run Olaf's installer, and just tell it to install into a different folder (even just called newfolder). Let the exe extract and grab them from there, then delete the folder when you've copied them over again.

after testing a few things i figured it out. everything is fine now, have new maps, have auto ss, have music, and have the maps like cs, mount olympus etc which were missing.

ok in future, ONLY REPLACE "THEME" mix file for music. YOU DO NOT NEED TO COPY/REPLACE ANY OTHER MIX FILES.

replacing the "multi" mix file screwed up everything.

u just made me waste 30mins of my life
