I have the impression that quite a lot of people are still using XP.

Range-based for (C++11) is a feature I'd like to use. Quite a lot of other stuff has been added too. Being able to use the latest version is just nice.Yeah, it does fall into those XP/W7 regions at the moment. Why don't you just use an older version of the studio?? I doubt they added THAT many good features to it.

Many governments are paying Millions of $ to extend the support. I don't see why, they should have seen it coming. Unprepared springs to mind.

Just like with previous operating systems (since DOS 5.0), I plan to hold on to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit until EVERYTHING I use/play works on a newer OS... or until Microsoft Midori is released
