You're pretty good under pressure. Btw, how do you memorize the maps? Do you just keep qming or what?

thanks, i have been pressured alot since im allied player.

yer i try my best to memorise, when new maps came out, i tried qm a hell of lot to get used to them / start positions, also played ffgs on new maps only & cms i try do new maps too so i get better and better at them, memorising "bo's" and best eco etc !

Besides not having more sentries to counter those 2 war miners, I can't see where you went wrong??? Where did you go wrong and what should you have done?

Oh yeah, I saw. I think it would've been too late to tech-up though, coz you just placed your 2nd war when the last tb began, which would have been equivalent to placing your battle lab if you had built that instead. Oh and you also forgot to make tanx . When I watched it the first time I noticed that Tomi had no more gems left and was running out of ore since he didn't build a ref up top, and I was wondering how he was sustaining his tank production??? Just now I realized that he sold his MCV .

Awesome vids!! Love to watch them, and what makes them the best is that they are from the players perspective as opposed to Observer. Also most of these games are vs top players which makes them even more fun 2 watch.

.mp4 format is the best quality / size ratio you can get on these videos. When I said 1/10th the size I was comparing .camrec (camtasia's format) with .mp4.

Yeah, out of Hypercam, CamStudio and Camtasia... Camtasia (along with the XviD codec) is the best for recording hands down. But for editing, Sony Vegas.

CnCRedAlert2 (YouTube) is the channel that NeoGrant created for some of the ST staff to upload XWIS vids to. AFAIK, so far it's been NeoGrant, Chrisev and myself that have been uploading to that channel.

This! Make a custom profile for saving and save as mp4 with like 90% or 85% quality, then after saving you can reconvert to mp4 again in mediacoder with aac audio and divx/xvid to reduce the size even further.

i use hypercam2, as recommended, alot quicker than when i 1st used a different tool.

i also now have a diff codec and this helps alot, but some videos can take upto 1-2hours to upload (also my upload speed is pants!!)

Using hypercam:

originally, my sound lagged behind game play, 'clicks', 'building ready' Makes the video annoying. That's just the video. Uploading this video (with premier settings for quality) would take 4+ hours to upload to youtube.

so then I started to convert with Windows movie maker. It took me a few tries to figure out, but i was able to add music, to cover up the 'mic' (which you hear in first example), however, this disabled viewership in copyright-strict countries (germany). As well, quality of the video tood a huge dive. Sure I was able to upload at 15 minutes, but you cannot read anything, as you can in the first example.

I chose one without music, in order to give you an example that all should be able to watch (and it's vs Olaf)

Just out of curiousity, I wanted to see how camtasia performed. I'm getting superior quality to hypercam, with similar, if not better upload times. The sound is Exact. I can edit the videos, as I have. I mean, in my opinion, it's a no brainer if it's free vs free. That's where the issue comes. But, I like this enough and think I will be able to get some practical use out of it that I may purchase it.

why is it that some people say i can get the videos to tiny sizes, therefore quicker uploads, when i use a diff "editor". only thing im "editing" is putting IN music and ADDING a title screen. i dont see how this will make my videos 'smaller' in sizes ?! ?!!??
