Having changed the password for my RA2 nicks in the C/P the game will not store my password. I can play 1 game then immediately after I have to go back to re input the password. The game will play again then and so on, after finishing each game .
How do es this get resolved please

Right click on the game and select "Run as administrator"...

Turn off UAC, or alternatively run the game as admin. Right click ra2.exe > properties > run as admin.

Sorry what is uac? As I cannot find "run as admin" anywhere

As a work-around for now, until someone posts the proper way to do it, type your login details into YR or install Olaf's multiplayer-version and enter your details in there, that worked for me a while back.

What would that change? Doesn't the problem lie in WOLAPI?

If he really doesn't know the admin password (for whatever reason that would be) he's very much out of luck unless he was to swap out the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT hKey parameter to RegOpenKeyExA against HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Someone should do that anyway as these topics are getting quite annoying with the time...

I dont have Yuri's installed. Any idea where I can find Olaf's multiplayer? I've looked in the download tab, but didnt find it

Both of Olaf's YR and RA2 multiplayer versions are there, I just looked now, it's the ones that have 0.0.0 at the end of them.

It's not happening, I run as admin but it asks for admin password. I dont have admin password

If you don't have the admin password, and you're not logged in as admin there's your problem.

There are only two users on this pc, when we start up windows xp i simply click on which user is logging on. There is NO request for password even though under my name it says "COMPUTER ADMINISTRATOR".
That is why I am saying there is no password. but when I go to run as.......

It asks me for a password.
Wil it be easier for me to downlaod the patch 0.0.0 or whatever it is

Thanks for your help, I'll try downloading the patch. But will that overwrite the patch for the auto ss and new maps??

Then you should be admin already. What happens if you disable Protect my computer from unauthorized program activity?

I get the SID :1038088. I manually insert the password, play a game then next game I get the server error message, Thats in QM.
If I go into custom match I can remain in there for many games without having to re insert password
