The ability to embed Youtube videos is meant for embedding game replays, not for other kinds of media. So don't.

I know theres a good reason but its not because of bandwidth is it? Because I didnt think embedded vids took up any, or do they?

No, it's not about bandwidth. It's mostly about (not) posting videos in 'normal' discussions.

Alright, acknowledged it. I'll refrain from posting non-game-replay YT videos anywhere other than in Players Lounge in the future which I am taking is the only place appropriate as long as the video is in the context.of the topic.

Its been set to disabled. If you want to embed it post it in

[media] [/media]

tags.

Did that really happen so often that the tags had to be disabled?
I don't remember every seeing somebody abusing it and I spend my whole life on this forum.

I'll make it a little clearer. You're free to post videos, just not to go and embed a song (totally unrelated ) into a topic (hence why we disabled the auto url). You're free to go and post and embed videos if its related to the post or if its in the players lounge.
