on yr it is.. when u get 2 decent players deadmans gives some epic battles. all uve done is removed the tech and put water in mid changes the way the map is played, i like how people are putting yr maps in ra2 but they should leave them be instead of making changes most of them are balanced and fun as they are.

16 derricks was way too much easy economy
the high ground and extra resources in the middle, including gems and derricks, created an environment where soviets dominated
the neutral airport supported the already present camping tendencies of the middle area
with the cutting down of resources, miner control becomes more important and more skill is necessary to control the map

1.ur happy to play may day.
2.well it didnt quite work like that on yr...
3. the map was based around a central object of which u try to gain control over thats the whole point of it and when its 2 decent players its never campy there's plenty splitting options and with the original derricks plenty options to build off and press, youve completely changed the complexity of the map same thing that happened with deadmans ridge on ra2. You shuda at least tryed the yr version on ra2 first personally my opninion is youve taken a classic and destroyed it, thats just me though.

Also think without the derricks and given the size of the map your going to run out of ore and be scraping to get cash if it goes long game..

No... this is a redesign of the original, by the way.
I don't believe the original is available for QM either.

This is exactly what I was telling u. You don't take any criticism, you'll never make a good map because of it. You back talk any opinions that people have and defend your own. You're too attached. Reread zigzags post.

All you told me was to make a goal to reach for, and in my opinion I believe there already is one. It's a redesigned map made for the Ra2 scene and what ZigZag said I think is complete ****. The map you played on had been changed many times prior to that version with help from others than yourself (I know, it's ****ing amazing). I took Steve's advice for this version, and I like it and so does he.

how do you edit current maps?

download the xcc utilities from here
http://xhp.xwis.net/
then open "mixer" then double click on "multi.mix" for ra2 maps and "multimd.mix" (if you have it) for YR maps
then right click -> extract and save to a folder then open with fa2 :p

U've been disagreeing with any constructive criticism I say already. So without explanation to your post.... No, it's not an amazing map.

btw, don't take it personal, i'm not attacking u or have anything against u. I just dont like the way the map is. Reread zigzags post, says everything that i've been saying. If you dont get it, read it again.

The map has been edited since you've played it. I never said the map was amazing, I was having a go at you because I assumed you were thinking this was the first edit. I'm not listening to ZigZag because everything he has said is (in my opinion) completely wrong.
