Was there a minimum time limit set for these games?

i only ask, because I get a lot of games that don't last 3 minutes, due to the amount of rushing I do on cerain maps. The are real games, and would have corresponding screen shots to go along with them, showing that in fact I've sold and rushed.

Yes. The minimum time-limit is 1 minute. Sorry, I should've updated my first post earlier, thanks for reminding me

I had a suggestion for the tournament fir3w0rx, if you're still game on adding an additional prize or 2.

1 thing that might be neat would be to award a seperate prize to the most games played on one nick, (possibly including ffgs, if the server logs can verify those games).

another might be to award a prize to the most active clan- to generate more incentive for clan matching. Even tho there is a range on the sizes of clans, the distribution of a prize could be determined internally, or perhaps be designated specifically (as far as the contest can dictate) to the single most active clanmate. Either way I think it would stimulate clanning nicely

I want to see how this one turns out first before going ahead with any other ideas, but they're definitely things that I'll be considering for next time.

I'm not too sure about the "most games played on one nick" though as top players that sky-rocket to the top of the ladder in no time, where there aren't too many games available, will be heavily disadvantaged against players that hover around the middle of the ladder, where a lot more games are available. I also don't want to encourage players to lose on purpose just to get more games.

how often does the "Stats" game counter update.

We can't go by the stats page because not all the winner's nicknames will be there.
Once we've found a possible winner, I'll have to go through each of their nicknames, make sure that all the games are legit and that no maps are played more than 25% in one nickname. It'll take a while but I think that that'll be the best way.

Just wanted to remind everyone about this little part.

i won yr october torunament ive asked Admin if i can just donate the prize for a competition like this. Dont know if that will be as much of an incentive though, also havent had a reply yet so dont know if admin will agree.
