I have Just bought a Dell Inspiron 15R 2nd generation laptop. It is currently running windows 7 64 bit. I installed both Red alert 2 and Yuri's revenge and patched them both with the latest patches. My problem is that upon starting the game the game intro movie does not show up. All i can see is a black screen and hear the audio. Then when the movies end, i see the screen where the menu options in RA and YR should slide in but the menus never show up. RA and YR should both run on this laptop because it runs on my friend's brand new 64 bit laptop and my Dad's brand new 64 bit laptop. Not only does it run on their laptops, but it runs without any compatablity settings and without admin mode. So please dont try and tell me the game is incompatable lol. So far i have spent a TON of time trying to fix my problem, by changing compatability settings and running on admin, to modifying the ddraw.ddl. NOTHING WORKS. I have an intel core I3 2nd generation processor and an intel graphics card. If anybody could help me I really need it because ive been playing this game for years and love it just as much as anyone else on this forum.

Yes i had this problem its because your game disk is prob damaged, what is best to do here is download the non-cd crak for the games witch both ra2 and yuris can be found in the help me section under downloads.
