I have been working for awhile on the creation of several new maps and as some of you may know, have intended to host a cash tournament once the qm patch had been updated..

well that day is today! and so I announce my cash tournament:

4 map pool (see images below)

100 Euros to rank 1!
75 Euros to rank 2!
50 Euros to rank 3!

Single Elimination, bo3/round.
Finals bo5
(Bronze match bo5)

Players can agree on the first map used, or, if no agreement can be reached, Urban Marine revisited will be used. After the first game the loser of the previous game will select the map.

No map can be used twice*.
No France
No lames (alting, engiing, engi eat**)

Video replays of the finals to be posted.

The tournament will be held on SUNDAY, JUNE 26 6PM GMT.

Which is approximately:

US & Canada - Sunday morning (brunch), June 26
Europe/Scandinavia(Northern Europe) - Sunday evening, June 26
Middle-East - Sunday night, June 26
South-East Asia / India - Late Sunday night, June 26
Western Australia - Very early Monday morning (just after midnight), 27 June
Eastern Australia / New Zealand - Early Monday morning (dawn), 27 June

Give or take an hour or two, depending on which country and state you live in.

You will need a PayPal account or access to one to receive the cash prizes.

@PlokiteWolf: I was planning to try and fill 16 spots + perhaps 2-4 reserve entries. However since the first 13 spots have filled relatively quickly I'll leave it open and see how many more sign-ups come in.

But as I understand it, a 16 entrant roster is ideal for the automated bracketing system I plan to use. So with the addition of 2 spots I am holding for friends, there may be only 1 'first-come, first-entered' spot remaining.

This is not for certain tho, as depending on the continued sign-ups I may try and expand the player pool.
