Hmm, I can make some more videos now since I sorted that annoying sound delay that I had out, somehow. This time I have to disappoint you though! Had to sell and remake my war factory after 1 miner and 1 tank.

You should use CamStudio. Download it from http://camstudio.org/ , and download Lossless Codec from their site too. Lossless Codec makes the recording performance much better

LoL? The lossless would record with no loss in picture quality, but that can usually cause performance problems on lower spec machines.

The resolution , lenght and the quality of the recordings will all impact system performance as the numbers go up.

You probably have a good PC Faze, so you can record at full quality without a problem.

When I didn't use the Lossless, my recording was lagging alot, and I testet it with a few games. I run CamStuio's recommend settings of using Lossless, so I havnt tweaked anything, and it all round runs perfect. For a 10-minute recording, the files goes up to 3gb, but I convert it to a smaller size when I upload to CNCTUBE. The original file (3gb) is crystal clear.

Actually my PC (laptop) specs is average. I go with a:

P8600 2.4 GHz
Ati mobility 4500, 512 mb and a resolution 15"6 1366*768.

I am surprised that my recording doesn't lag, but Showtime, try CamStudio, and tell me how it goes. Otherwise I can recommend Camtasia

Now I'm on Camstudio, and when I record with sound, the Ra2-music will appear in every recording, and that gets boring to hear at in the length? I don't want to turn ra2-music on-off every time I do record, so...

Fabi also told me that it was annoying I had no sound!

I better find a solution on my sound prob, so keep your heads up

Do you:

• turn off all the fancy 3D stuff in your graphics card settings when running ra2.exe & game.exe
• add 'VideoBackBuffer=no' in ra2.ini
• set the colour depth to 16-bit
• close other programs

?

BTW you should convert your files before uploading them (I use Aiseesoft Total Media Converter), it's much quicker converting it on your hardrive than online. And also, instead of uploading 2gb of data, you'll only be uploading about 100mb.
