Because there are so many Ra2 and YR posts here, it's often hard to find the TS posts. Please post in this thread for TS-related help and I and some of my fellow players shall endeavour to help you :D

I have a problem installing the free version to work on the internet!
It's running properly with missions and skirmish.
But the Internet gives me the message that the library is missing.
Everything is in the right directories!
I have started the tibsun_reggadd and following that the WOLAPI.dll in the Internet folder.
BUT...when I do that I receive a problem-message
Unfortunately only in German...

"Das Modul "WOLAPI.dll" wurde geladen, der Aufruf an "DllRegisterServer" ist jedoch mit dem Fehlercode 0x8002801c fehlgeschlagen."

I do believe that it has something to do with Windows7 and missing rights to change the registry or something.
Please help me guys!

There are two ways to do this:
1, For in game chat, i believe the default button is F8, simply press F8 and you should be able to chat to the players while IG
2. "P" should be the default button to page users while IG, i changed this in the options button because i use the "P" key to power on and off my buildings, but pressing "p" will allow u to page users who are say in the lobby while u are in game or to page clan aswell.

Hi.

Don't click the WOLAPI.dll in the Internet folder, instead, click the registerWOL.bat.

If you have anymore problems, feel free to check out the tutorial (link is in my signature), or ask for help in the tech support section.

edit: fixed typos.

Actually, I'm not sure page-user is assigned to any button at all (well it isn't on mine). You will need to set it yourself to something like /

if you're using F8 to talk in game, you cannot, and if you are personally paging another member, you cannot - however, if you are a member of a clan, and use the page clan function, you can see the message you sent, because it goes clan-wide (so it obviouslys works its way back to you)

F1 - talk to 1st player in the list only.
F2 - talk to 2nd player in the list only.
F3 - talk to 3rd player in the list only.
F4 - talk to 4th player in the list only.

F8 - talk to everyone all at the same time.

Kind of self explanatory but if there's more then 4 people in a game, then you just go down the F(x) for the next person, ex. F5, F6, and F7 etc.

also, if you want to page another user or your clan in game, you can bring up your page screen by clicking 'j' (well ray uses 'p' but whatever is free). this isnt a default setting so you'll need to go to your TS mainscreen (where you click skirmish, options, online etc) and click options, then i think its 'interface' and then you can see all of your hotkeys and what they're assigned too. from there you can assign 'page user' as whatever letter you want, however if you use one already in use it will over ride that and you will then have to select another one for the one you've over ridden.

i use f12 for bookmarking :D

if you hold ctrl F9-12 while looking over the area you want to 'bookmark', it will bookmark it for you so it avoids having to scroll to every corner. i usually dont bookmark my base because i use 'h', but F9-F11 is usually the corners and if im in middle ill set F12 as the middle. then once set, you only need to press the assigned 'f' button to go straight to that location

i haven't played TS in years...decided to play again a few days ago. A few times my mcv got blown up and my allies gave me a mcv to take. As i remember all i had to do was put in engineer in there but no avail, it doesn't work. Can anyone help me out here...thanks.

First off, you cannot be in a clan match... second off, if multi engineer is not on, it takes 3 engineers... if it is your allies CY, you need to first unally then re-ally them after you have captured the CY.

If you are caught doing this against any WW players tho, be forewarned - you won't be playing with them again unless your on another nick we don't recognize. None of us approve of that, if you lose your Cy - you lose your cy. The only exception is if you are nod and hijack one.

if multi engs is on it takes 3 to take an unallied mcv, if its off it takes one

I'd like to know how to powerbomb properly. I thought I could then I tried in skirmish and realised just normal bombing does more damage. :o Can anyone actually powerbomb? If so, how?

Try clicking to the side of a building, then when you're fairly close to it, you powerbomb, I try doing it at a harsh angle, like 45 degrees to 90 degrees. For instance, I'll set a group of 6 bombers to the left side of a war, and as they are passing the left side, I attack the structure, the goal is to have the majority of the bombs drop directly on top of it, so you don't get that 2 or 3 wasted carpet bombs in front of any attacked unit/structure but rather right on top.

A tip many people don't utilize today is you can use 3 bombers to powerbomb a titan rather then 4 doing a normal carpet bomb. Same principle applies for CC, MK, Diss... etc. same amount does more damage, or less to accomplish the job.

But 6 bombers can kill a warf even if they carpet...
