Here is My Rough Draft, not the full proposal

ask any questions as to why maps are here etc....
ill answer anything
and it will be more organized when i actually propose this.


MAps that should be taken out of QM
Anytown, Amerika all
Defcon 6- AvS
Deadman's Ridge- Avs


Hidden Valley-avy, Svy
Blood Feud avy, svy
Urban Rush avy , svy, avs
Dune Patrol avy, svy
Dustbowl VS YURI


again AVS means only take out allied vs sov.
avy= allied vs yuri
svy = soviet vs yuri

MAps vs yuri in QM
Most maps i found to be pretty balanced Allied vs yuri, but sov vs yuri its been pretty hard,
we might have to add maps and test out the balance issues because some maps look like they could be balanced but i honestly dontk now, its a close one to call

Sinkhole- avy, svy
Four corners - avy, svy
Bridging the gap - Avy
Sea of isolation - Avy
double trouble - Avy
oceanside- avy, svy ( id like to try this out because the bridges make it impossible for yuri to boomer rush, and the paras in hte middle make it easy ofr the opposing player to take middle over yuri >.<)
lost lake- Avy
malibu cliffs- Avy and Svy
Siberian wastes- Avy Svy
NEar ore far - avy
army of the potomac - Avy
Wild animal park- avy
Lake Blitzen- Avy

Thats all i can think of for now.
i might actually use robot tanks after this Renovation haha.

I agree with anything you guys propose. I just want a change. All sounds good to me.

keep all maps and throw in all the rest. Just get a shed load of maps like 50 new ones and let the fun commence.

Supers on and random in mirrors.

What I would really like (I know it can't be done) is random animals that are ultra aggressive, like moneys, T-Rex, crocodiles, polar bears, etc that can attack each team just to add some fun in there. I know it would mean you could part lose via the computer but who cares now.......

NEGATIVE.

Many maps need to be taken out as Yuri are OP.

You could just make it so yuri only plays on maps like urban rush and snow valley where they should be unbeatable, which would cause everyone to cancel yuri even more and effectively eliminate him from the game..... :w00t:

What a dumb idea. Qm is for competition. Adding random factors eliminates the SKILL.

As said, totally against any renovation that adds more than 10 maps.

You want to build off your allies con yard on 1v1, lol. I hope that was put in for a joke. If you have an ally in 1v1 then there is no game.

the only thing i don't like is the map list is to large and is lacking in SvY and AvY

who cares if there is alot of maps,
THat adds more fun,

its sad that most of the QM maps in yr
are ra2 maps.


YR has more maps then just ra2 maps,
but what is seriosuly wrong with having this many maps in the qm pool?

well unless you want to test every possible scenario with all those maps on every spot to make sure they are balanced, it could let 1 to many unbalanced maps into qm if you know what i mean

ya but this is jsut a test, things can be fixed like marko said,

and not to mention i've played HEAVILY on alot of these maps
some i havent.
but i know most of the maps haha
some i just put in bcuz prep did tho :)
and yeah i know what u mean,
but heck is unbalanced kind of, but people want it in QM
and then u have the thing that,
there isnt one pure balanced map.
its easy to add ALOT more maps at the beginning and then taking some out
then it is to add just a few maps, and putting alot more in after.

balance is not an issue in most maps,
and like i said it sjust a rough draft so i respect your opinion,
but if you want to play the same maps over and over
go play ra2.

most maps are balanced.

i dontk now if there are any, but if there is that would be a prob I.E. on snow valley and stuff.
that would be the only thing that would tip the balance in most of these maps.
MOST are balanced, otheres are there due to popular demand.

I've already given my reasons and don't feel like a back and fourth, but I'll give them again.

Adding a large amount of maps favours people with more time to learn them. I like the old maps. They're about 30+ (?) maps already in qm. That's enough. If you want to take maps out, by all means replace them with new, more balanced maps. I'm pro doing that. I'm also pro perfecting the super weopon setting on some maps, like Mayday AvS. No chance for a sov to win there without sw.

it would only take a few games on any of the new maps to get an idea of how to play them, sure there will be an initial advantage to ppl playing alot, but that will fade quickly. the idea of this is to inspire more game play, and i think it will help a ton. maybe even get some ra2 players to come back cuz they want some map diversity.

and besides if ppl are spending lots of time learning new maps, that means their playing! and helping activity! aka mission accomplished.

what about some of the older players coming back, finding 80 some maps in qm and not bothering with qm anymore?

The increased activity with people learning maps might be a possibility, but it's only temporary.
