washing is a form of cheating where someone sabotages a game so the result is that neither player wins or loses points.
Thats the general term and it either done by disconnecting or by using a trainer to cause a reconnection error.

People that wash get reset and blacklisted.

Washing is where an image like this comes up and the game doesn't count (nobody gets or loses pts.). Some people do it when they're losing and don't want to lose points. It's a form of cheating .
